The Parent Behind the Cape: Resilience, Self-Preservation, Connection
About the Session: Parenting often comes with the pressure to keep going, hold everything together, and somehow make it all look manageable. The Parent Behind the Cape explores parental resilience not as constant strength, but as the ability to adapt, recover, and bounce back after difficult seasons while continuing to move forward.
Through practical reflection and real-life perspective, this webinar will examine self-preservation, the freedom to be human instead of “superhuman,” forgiveness and grace, the weight of unmet expectations, and the role meaningful social connections play in helping parents remain grounded. Participants will be encouraged to rethink resilience as more than simply enduring hardship but as finding healthy ways to rise from it without losing themselves along the way.
