November 24 @ 11:30 am - 12:30 pm

About the Session: The Maryland Perinatal-Neonatal Quality Collaborative (MDPQC) is a collaboration of hospitals, perinatal care providers, neonatal care providers, community organizations, and public health professionals working together with the same goal—to make Maryland a safer and more equitable place to give birth across all levels of care.

By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Increase awareness about the work of Maryland Perinatal-Neonatal Quality Collaborative (MDPQC).
  • Gain insight on how MDPQC initiatives support pregnant and postpartum people, and their affected newborns.
  • Learn more about helpful tools and resources developed by MDPQC.

About the Speaker: Alynna Nguyen, MPH, CPHQ, serves as a Quality Improvement Advisor for the Maryland Perinatal-Neonatal Quality Collaborative (MDPQC). In addition to supporting birthing hospitals with the Postpartum Discharge Transitions and Substance Exposed Newborns initiatives, Alynna also leads MDPQC’s supplemental substance use initiative, addressing pregnant and postpartum people experiencing substance use and mental health conditions across Maryland.
