Mental Health Association of Maryland (MHAMD) and MD-BHIPP (Maryland Behavioral Health Integration in Pediatric Primary Care) work together to staff the advisory committee for the Pediatric Mental Health Care Access Program in Maryland (HRSA-19-096). This committee is comprised of key stakeholders and agencies needed to support a regional pediatric mental health care access program which includes mental health, public health, pediatric health and behavioral health clinicians, human services, health insurers, and family members.
We are seeking family voices of those with personal experience as a parent or caregiver of a child or youth with a mental health condition to participate in our Telemental Health Family Advisory Committee. The committee met between January-June 2022 to revise 3 of the existing Telemental Health Tip sheets that were previously developed to better support family and caregiver understanding and access issues which have changed since the pandemic. We will also provide feedback for the development of 5 new tip sheets.
Our 2022-2023 Meetings are complete and are on hold until further notice.
