Resources for Educators & Providers

2012 Children's Mental Health Awareness Week Tips for School

Teacher Resource Kit Fact Sheets

These kits were developed in 2009 by the Campaign. They can be ordered by contacting Kari Gorkos at kgorkos@mhamd.org or 410-235-1178, ext. 215.

As a teacher, school administrator or school counselor, you are in a unique position to notice mental health problems that children may have and to help families understand these issues. This kit gives you the tools to facilitate that process.

Included are 19 fact sheets (below) for teachers/school personnel and under the families section, 19 fact sheets for families. Feel free to make photocopies of these fact sheets and share them with families, school personnel and others.
